Pulling the Plug CLE
Termination on Construction Projects in Louisiana
Friday, April 17, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. - 1 Hour CLE Credit
Termination is one of the fastest ways for a construction project to turn into a full-blown dispute—often resulting in significant consequences and driven by notice failures, documentation gaps, and misunderstandings about contractual and statutory rights. This CLE walks attorneys through the different methods of termination, the effects and consequences of termination including wrongful termination, Louisiana jurisprudence concerning termination on construction projects, as well as practical guidance for attorneys advising clients who are considering termination, responding to a termination threat, or who have been actually terminated.
