Founded in 1924, the New Orleans Bar Association represents the interests of lawyers and judges in the New Orleans area. The Bar is dedicated to promoting justice, educating its members and enhancing the legal profession.
Our Mission
To maintain the honor and dignity of the legal profession, to promote the due administration of justice, to provide educational opportunities for the development of professional and social relationships among its members, and to promote and conserve the honor, dignity and efficiency of the bench. Our mission is accomplished through NOBA Committees, which help lawyers stay at the forefront of their practice areas through studying developments in the law, exchanging ideas, solving problems, and interacting with experts.
