Lawyers Voice Opinion on Judicial Candidates for May 16, 2026 Election 

NOBA's Judicial Poll is one of the most trusted tools voters rely on when choosing judges. The Poll reflects the informed perspective of lawyers who work in the system every day and provides meaningful insight to the public during judicial elections.

The New Orleans Bar Association polled Active Voting Members regarding their preferences for New Orleans area judicial candidates running in the May 16, 2026 election. Each Active Voting Member was asked to vote for their first choice of candidates running for contested judicial seats, and 144 members voted. 

Please be advised that the Board of Directors does not check or verify the accuracy of any fact or assertion made by a candidate in response to the judicial candidate questionnaire. The results of this poll do not in any way represent an endorsement by the New Orleans Bar Association and reflect only the views of the Association’s individual members who voted. The NOBA logo is copyrighted and NOBA does not authorize the use of its logo in any campaign materials or advertising. 

The voting results are rounded to the nearest decimal.
