Speaker credibility is a fundamental pillar of persuasion, and the modern jury requires adaptive techniques to be effective. This presentation establishes the fundamentals for attorneys today, as well as advanced techniques for refining courtroom presence, commanding attention, and making an indelible impact on juries and judges alike. Attendees will explore audience analysis, invention, organization, vocal control, and body language and learn how to increase credibility and engage listeners on multiple levels. The presentation draws from cutting-edge research in cognitive psychology and communication. By mastering these techniques, trial lawyers will be empowered to create powerful, memorable narratives that resonate deeply, inspire trust, and, ultimately, persuade.
