Arceneaux Professionalism Award Presented to Judge Robin Giarrusso (ret.)

The Arceneaux Professionalism Award recognizes attorneys for their professionalism and dedication in practicing law with integrity, honor and civility. The 2023 Arceneaux Professionalism Award will be presented to Hon. Robin M. Giarrusso (ret.).

The Arceneaux Professionalism Award was created in 2001 to promote the highest standards of professional and ethical behavior and was named in memory of former New Orleans Bar Association president James C. Arceneaux, III. The award commemorates Mr. Arceneaux’s impeccable record of practice which exemplified the highest levels of integrity, honor and civility. He was the consummate professional, well known for his courteous demeanor and consideration. 

The award is a joint project of the New Orleans Bar Association and New Orleans Bar Foundation and is given at the Annual Dinner meeting held in November. The Selection Committee for the award is chaired by the NOBA Professionalism Committee Chair who is appointed by the NOBA President. Other Committee members are the Presidents and Past Presidents of the Association and Foundation.
