A Clinical Perspective Through The Lens of Child Custody Experts

This program is for lawyers, custody evaluators, and mental health professionals only. Registration is required. Not open to the public.

This dynamic panel brings together leading Louisiana custody evaluators, mental health professionals and a substance abuse specialist for an in-depth look at the evaluation process in custody cases as they discuss the methodologies and best practices for child-focused outcomes.  This multidisciplinary panel will examine the factors evaluators consider, the limitations of assessment tools and how mental health and substance use concerns are weighed.  Attorneys and professionals will leave with a more nuanced understanding of how evaluations are formed and how to integrate that knowledge into their practice.
