The Orrin G. Hatch-Bob Goodlatte Music Modernization Act is the most significant piece of copyright legislation in decades, updating U.S. music law for the digital age. The Copyright Office has been busy implementing the Act over the past year. Copyright Office Assistant General Counsel, John Riley, will present a summary of the Music Modernization Act and outline the Office’s past and future implementation efforts and what these changes mean for your clients.
