September 6 2013 | News

Bans on using social media while driving, new laws on conceal carry permits, and tax credit changes led to a lively debate at the annual Louisiana Legislative Review. The comprehensive and detailed review of the 2013 Louisiana legislative session was held September 4th by the New Orleans Bar Association. This annual program is one of the original CLE programs offered by the New Orleans Bar Association, and an anticipated highlight for many of its members. Representative Walter Leger III, Senator Daniel Martiny and Senator Edwin Murray led the review along with local political writer and commentator Clancy Dubos III. NOBA members were able to get the complete scope of legislative changes along with insightful commentary. The 2014 Legislative Review will be held next summer.
