Legal Support Staff Positions

Small Law Firm, located in the CBD, seeking a part-time, experienced bookkeeper for 20-24 hours per week.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processing and posting of cash receipts and disbursements, payroll and other journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations (including Trust Account), preparing bank reconciliations, and month-end financial statements.
  • Perform the billing and timekeeping functions. These duties will include working with timekeepers to ensure billable hours are properly recorded, keeping track of special billing requirements, processing bills, making appropriate billing adjustments, etc.
  • May assist in ordering and maintaining office supplies, contact with vendors, bank run, etc.


  • Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience with Excel and Word Software required.
  • Juris Accounting, Time and Billing Software, and Law Firm Experience Preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy, as well as, great interpersonal skills are required.
