Payment is expected before the start of programs in order to attend. Cancellations must be received in writing two days in advance in order to receive a refund. No shows are not eligible for refunds and will be charged for the program, plus an administrative billing fee.

Recent Events:

On Aust 22, 2019, the Committee,  welcomed Property Tax Assessor Erroll Williams for "Meet the Property Assessor."

On April 18, 2019, the Committee held a planning meeting for upcoming programs.

On March 14, 2019, the Committee held a planning meeting for the upcoming year.
On July 11, 2018, The Orleans Parish Property Assessor, Erroll Williams, presented his annual "Meet the Orleans Parish Property Assessor CLE."

On July 28, 2017, the Committee, along with the Greater New Orleans Hotel and Lodging Association and the Hospitality Financial and Tax Professionals Association, welcomed Property Tax Assessor Erroll Williams for "Meet the Property Assessor."

On March 30, the Committee, along with Greater New Orleans Hotel & Lodging Association and Technology Professionals Association, hosted the 1st Special Session LA Legislative Update. Vanessa LaFleur discussed the new Louisiana laws, including information businesses need to remain compliant during the transition and as new laws take effect.


New Orleanians love second lines but all lines are not created equal.  NOBA has heard complaints from taxpayers about the long lines down at City Hall during the open rolls period. The Tax Law Committee wants to make this year’s line – several thousand people long – the last line.  The Tax Law Committee is soliciting members for a Last Line Task Force to study the issues raised by recent property tax assessment open rolls period procedures in Orleans Parish.
