Pollution Insurance Coverage: It's Complicated CLE - Webinar

Thursday, November 4, 2021

[1 hour of CLE Credit]

Industrial and commercial businesses face all sorts of pollution risks: third-party liability, cleanup costs, regulatory action, and contractual obligations. Insurance products are available to mitigate these pollution-related risks. But those products typically don’t fit the standard general liability or commercial property policy molds: insuring agreements are narrow, there are numerous exclusions and deadlines, and many policies are written on a claims-made basis. These circumstances combine to create confusion and lay traps for brokers, lawyers, and claims personnel. Our expert panel will demystify pollution insurance coverages, allowing for better risk management, contract negotiation, and claims handling. Join Harold Flanagan via Zoom on November 4 when he interviews Sharon Burger and Elizabeth Griffith, Esq. of IMA of Colorado, who will share their expertise on pollution insurance.

Elizabeth Griffith, Esq., IMA Colorado
