Kim Sport, Chair of the Domestic Violence Law Committee, and Steven Lane, Chair of the Family Law Committee, will be co-hosting a CLE on June 20th. Mary Claire Landry, Executive Director of the Family Justice Center (FJC) has been so gracious to host the seminar there and will open up the program with welcoming remarks. Afterwards, there will be a discussion on the sweeping changes to domestic violence laws in the 2018 session directly from the legislators, law professors, district attorneys and advocates.

Mary Claire will give an overview of the FJC with descriptions of services by representative of the FJC’s agency partners: Project Save and Immigration Services, LSBA, NO Children’s Advocacy Center, SLLS, Tulane University Law School, NO Police Dept. Domestic Violence Unit Sexual Assault Unit, Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, and STAR.
