In the 2019 Regular Session, the Louisiana legislature enacted sweeping changes to the Louisiana Private Works Act that impact all parties involved in a construction project. This program will discuss these changes, and touch on the new rights and requirements concerning notice, time to file, and priority of Louisiana Private Works Act liens.

On February 5, 2015, the Construction Law Committee was treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of Audubon Zoo’s most recent renovation; including glimpses of the completed lazy river, the under-construction updated elephant and orangutan enclosures. In addition to these previews, the Construction Law Committee gained valuable insight into the myriad hurdles this project has encountered.
