Mindfulness: One Path to Professional Conduct

Mindfulness is a mental state that focuses one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and emotions. The practice of mindfulness has been associated with many positive health benefits and you may be surprised to hear that mindfulness can also facilitate your law practice. Come hear how practicing mindfulness can lead you to a more professional manner of relating to and interacting with clients, opposing counsel, staff, colleagues and the bench. The program will be presented by Leah Woolf, East Jefferson General Hospital Director of Business & Industry, Integrative Medicine, & Wellness Center and Carmelite Bertaut, Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann.

Those who attend can enter to win a gift certificate for 2 free juices at the Green Fork!
