The Study Group on Panama Committee Plans Its First Trip!
October 5-8, 2017

The New Orleans Bar Association is pleased to offer its members an opportunity to join President Chis Ralston on a CLE and economic development trip to Panama from October 5-8, 2017

The trip will begin on a Thursday morning with a nonstop flight on COPA Airlines from New Orleans International Airport. We will then spend the next several days at the Waldorf Astoria returning to New Orleans Sunday evening. NOBA has negotiated steep discounts on flight and hotel pricing. This opportunity should not be missed. The New York Times recently named Panama as the #1 city to visit in the world. Panama boasts a booming economy and is the economic hub for work throughout Latin American.

Our morning programs will be dedicated to providing attendees with the tools necessary to support their clients who are doing business in Latin America. Courses will include explorations into trade and project financing in Latin America, strategies for negotiating commercial agreements, and using international arbitration for dispute resolution with Latin American companies. We also are planning luncheons and meetings with local commercial leaders and government officials and cultural excursions for those wanting to learn more about Panama’s rich history and shared traditions with New Orleans. A formal invitation with further information will be sent to NOBA members next week.

If you are interested in more information concerning the Panama trip including pricing, accommodations, CLE programs and more, please visit our Panama website.
