Legal Support Staff Positions

DeBruhl-Haynes, The Health Law Group, a small business located in the CBD, is seeking to fill a receptionist position.  The physical requirements of this position are sitting for the position; walking to do bank runs, occasional lifting of 5-7 lbs and the ability to pleasantly work with clients, attorneys and staff.

The duties are as follows: answer telephones, directing calls to appropriate party; taking written messages from the caller or forwarding the calls to the appropriate voice mail; calendar appointments/conference calls/meetings for attorneys; distributing weekly calendar of activities; greet clients and escort to conference rooms for in-office meetings; order office supplies from Office Depot or particular vendor for certain supplies (i.e., letterhead paper; toner); ensure the supply of coffee, soft drinks, water, paper towels, bathroom tissue, etc. for the office doesn’t run out; notify attorney when supplies are running low and purchase those supplies; bank deposits for the firm (walking); distribute mail/federal express/UPS deliveries to appropriate parties; scheduling and delivery of mail/federal express/UPS to outside pickup as necessary (walking); order stamps as necessary; assist with monthly client billing and accounts payable mailouts; maintaining firm files once matters are completed, shredding files when necessary; limited library upkeep; ordering lunch/dinner for client meetings; prepare coffee/water; prepare conference rooms for meetings; clean up after; limited maintenance duties (assist with gathering of trash and take can out to street; water plants (1 time per week); notify of light bulb needs.

The hours for this position are 8:30 am - 5:30 pm M - F

Salary: Commensurate with experience
