  • Across the nation, media attention on bullying of children and teens is causing more jurisdictions to implement anti-bullying laws and policies. 
  • During this year’s legislative session, in response to the suicide of a Pointe Coupee Parish teen, the Louisiana legislature passed the Tesa Middlebrook Anti-Bullying Act. 
  • This panel will discuss the new act and other legal remedies that parents and students may have to address school bullying.
