- The Pro-Bowl-O Tournament will take place on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Rock ‘n Bowl on Carrollton Ave in New Orleans.
- Lanes open at 12 p.m.; play lasts from 12-3 p.m.
- Ticket purchase includes play time, shoes, and food and drinks during the event. Prizes for highest individual and team scores as well as best team costume and tackiest pair of bowling shoes.

- Local schools competed in the 2011 Richard N. Ware, IV High School Mock Trial Competition. The regions have changed this year to include Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, St. Charles, St. James and St. John Parishes.
- Congratulations to Jesuit Varsity for winning this year's Region IV Mock Trial. Jesuit will advance along with Haynes Varsity to compete at the state level on March 19, 2011.
- A special note of appreciation to our volunteers including YLS Mock Trial Chair, Carla Gendusa! The
Hon. Paul A. Bonin, 4th Circuit Court of Appeal, Hon. Christopher Bruno, Orleans Parish Civil District Court, Hon. Raymond S. Steib, 24th JDC, and Hon. June Berry Darensburg, 24th JDC all participated as volunteer judges.
- Thank you to Reginelli's Pizza for their kind donation of pizzas for all the student participants and volunteers.
