YLS Monthly Meetings

  • Typically held the first Tuesday of the month at 12 Noon
  • Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4th.
  • Our meetings are held at the new office of the New Orleans Bar Association, 650 Poydras Street, Suite 1505, New Orleans.

Law Day - April 29, 2013

  • This year the Young Lawyers Section will be holding a program for schoolchildren on Monday, April 29th at the United States District Court.

 

Dos and Don'ts of Summer Clerkships - May, 22, 2013

  • Everything you've always wanted to know about but were afraid to ask about summer clerkships, including conduct, attire, and etiquette.
  • Held at the New Orleans Bar Association from 3:30 pm - 5 pm.
  • Includes a cocktail reception, seminar, and tickets to Wednesdays at the Square!

  • Local schools competed in the 2013 Richard N. Ware, IV High School Mock Trial Competition.

Bar & Grille 2013

  • Held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the City Park's Peristyle.

LSU - Tulane Baseball Game

  • Celebrate Spring and the LSU - Tulane rivalry on Tuesday, March 26th.
  • The YLS will have a hospitality tent featuring drinks and food before and during the game.
  • Cost to attend is $70/ticket - chair back seats, right field side
