John Lovett, Associate Dean and Daggett Distinguished Professor of Law, at Loyola Law School provided a discussion of negative servitudes under Louisiana and the common law, including recent caselaw at the Real Property Law Committee's monthly meeting on April 30, 2014.   Group members discussed various problems that arise in practice under Louisiana’s existing code articles. The Committee meets monthly to discuss the latest developments in real property law.  In May, the Committee will welcome Scott Gallinghouse and John McCarthy, Counsel, First American Title Insurance Company, who will offer a CLE on "Title Endorsements in Louisiana: Recent Changes in Forms and Underwriting Requirements".  For information, please contact NOBA at (504) 525-7453 or email Rebekah Burg.
