Judge Eldon Fallon and Kerry Miller discussed from the perspective of the Court and of the litigants, the hurdles and pitfalls of products liability claims involving foreign manufacturers at the Common Issues With Foreign Manufacturers in Products Liability Litigation CLE at NOBA on Friday, October 14th. This discussion included issues regarding service of process, jurisdiction, discovery logistics, language barriers, enforcement of judgments & rulings, mitigating foreign apprehension of the US Court System and unique approaches to resolution and absolution. The CLE was moderated by Hugh "Skip" Lambert, incoming Chair of the Products Liability Committee.
