Attention Family Law Committee Members:
The new Title IV Rules and Appendices for family law proceedings have been approved and are in effect as of July 1, 2015. You can view them by clicking here.
The Louisiana Supreme Court approved the new Title IV Rules and Appendices for family law proceedings on April 30, 2015. Effective July 1, 2015, these new Rules and their Appendices will replace the Title IV numbering system and court-specific rules currently in place.
You will be able to access the new Rules and Appendices on the 22nd Judicial District Court website at www.22ndjdc.org, at the Family Court Kiosk, Room 3240 on the 3rd floor of the St. Tammany Parish Justice Center, Covington, LA, and at the Washington Parish courthouse in Franklinton, LA.

On June 30th, Judges Regina H. Woods and Judge Clare F. Jupiter will discussed with attorneys such issues as how they intend to manage their court now that they are newly elected to the general civil docket; do's and don'ts for attorneys, pet peeves etc. Judge Kern A. Reese, as Chief Judge, gave his input based on his lengthy time on the bench.
On March 23, 2015 the Family Law Committee held "Professionalism: Expectations of the New Domestic Judges" at Civil District Court
