This program will discuss a lawyer’s ethical obligation to timely disclose facts to clients when undesired outcomes occur and when potential legal malpractice has happened. Participants will also gain key insight concerning fee structures, flat-fee billing, and the tensions concerning excessive legal fees. Finally, this program will discuss the broader aspects of ethics in professional development such as the duty of candor and the right (or obligation) to remain silent.
