Payment is expected before the start of programs in order to attend. Cancellations must be received in writing two days in advance in order to receive a refund. No shows are not eligible for refunds and will be charged for the program, plus an administrative billing fee.

On May 16, 2018, the committee hosted "Labor and Employment Issues in the Construction Industry CLE," featuring Jane H. Heidingsfelder, Jones Walker LLP; Christopher K. LeMieux, Reiss LeMieux, LLC; and David K. Theard, Jones Walker LLP.

On March 14, 2018, Stuart Richeson and Alexander Saunders presented "Construction Law for Subcontractors, Material Suppliers, and Residential Builders" CLE.

On Friday, October 24. 2017, Eric Mund and Jeffrey Prattini presented "Procurement, Public Bid, and the Public Works Act CLE."

On August 24, Jessica A. Roberts presented "Construction Law for the Solo Practitioner: A Primer CLE."

On May 19, the committee held a joint social at Nola Brewery with the Surety Association of Louisiana.

On April 6, Adrian D'Arcy and Casius Pealer presented "Green Building 101: What Attorneys Need to Know and Why."

On March 2, the committee held a Lunch & Learn. Mike Merwick and Neil Miltonberger from The Kenrich Group discussed "Forensic Schedule Analysis: Demystifying the Black Box."

 

On December 3, 2015, the committee held a holiday social at Deutsch Kerrigan.
 

On October 14, 2015, Tamara Lindsay and Jeffrey Kessler discussed "ADA Compliance for Construction Projects."
 

On September 24, 2015, the Construction Law committee organized a tour of the ongoing VA Hospital project.
 

On May 20, 2015, Daniel Lund and Sharonda Williams discussed The "Dos and Don'ts" of Public Bid Protests
 

On March 26, 2015, the Construction Law Committee held a wine tasting social at Hopper's on Magazine Street.
 

On February 5, 2015, the Construction Law Committee was treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of Audubon Zoo’s most recent renovation; including glimpses of the completed lazy river, the under-construction updated elephant and orangutan enclosures.  In addition to these previews, the Construction Law Committee gained valuable insight into the myriad hurdles this project has encountered.
