What is Bar & Grille?

The New Orleans Bar & Grille is the law firm cooking competition that raises money for legal services

to the poor.

Join the Young Lawyers Section of the New Orleans Bar Association in its 9th annual New Orleans Bar & Grille. Teams of amateur chefs from local companies and law firms participate in a cook off at the Peristyle in City Park.

The event offers family, friends, and the general public plenty of entertainment including live music, free drinks, and, of course, a sampling of the dishes that are prepared on site. Although teams are not limited in what particular dish they prepare, teams will compete for Best Local Favorite, Best Dessert, Most Creative, Best Booth Decoration, Crowd Favorite, and Best Overall.

Silent Auction

The event will include a silent auction of items donated from local businesses.

The event helps raise money for Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, a non-profit

corporation that serves individuals and families who, without legal assistance, would lose a

critical human need - food, shelter, income, medical care, personal safety or parental care.
