Minorities in the Committee Brown Bag Lunch
The Minorities in the Profession Committee plans to host several “Brown Bag Lunches,” throughout the remainder of the year. The Brown Bag Lunches will focus on topics of discussion that are important to minority lawyers. The next luncheon will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 in the courtroom of the Honorable Judge Herbert A. Cade. The topic will be, “Merit Selection .” Several honorable members of our judiciary and the bar will be invited to participate in the discussion. Minorities in the Committee Social
The Minorities in the Profession Committee will be hosting a happy hour at 6 pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Bullets which is located at 2441 A.P. Tureaud Street, New Orleans.
The happy hour will allow younger lawyers the opportunity to network with more seasoned lawyers and also allow all lawyers to gain practical advice and tips from members of the judiciary in the forums in which they practice.
