Upcoming Activities - June 15th CLE on Handling State Administrative Law Proceedings

 

CLE Topic: Handling State Administrative Law Proceedings

When disputes arise between state agencies and those they regulate, the people of the state of Louisiana deserve fair, prompt and orderly adjudications conducted by independent and impartial administrative law judges. This program will discuss the role of:

  • The Division of Administrative Law and its mission to provide due process to the citizens of the state and to the executive branch agencies, through fair hearings conducted by independent, impartial, and professional administrative law judges
  • Maintaining the independence and integrity of the Division of Administrative Law, and protection of the role of the Administrative Law Judge as an impartial adjudicator
  • Continuing to develop a more efficient and fair hearings and decision process.
